Dear Lord -- Thank You for the gorgeous display of colours this spring season. I pray that I will never stop noticing the vibrance of this time of year. In Jesus' name, I pray.
Tip #15: Look the Part -- Put on workout clothes -- do not just change into running shoes. If you look the part, you will feel the part. Keep workout clothes in the car or beside the front door.
The Lord is faithful to all His promises and loving toward all He has made (Psalm 145:13 NIV).
Challenge: This week pack a bag for all your workout needs.
Any comments?
Party, Party
Dear Father -- You are a gentle Father who guides and directs us. I thank You for Your faithfulness, kindness and generosity. I pray that I continue to see Your hand at work in my life. In Jesus' name, I pray.
Tip #14: Return to basics...Reduce the amount of processed foods you buy. If you really want to be healthy, get back to the basics with whole foods. Try to eat food the way God made it or as close to it as possible.
This week we celebrated my son's 9th birthday with a party for his friends on Saturday and a party with family on his birthday. But parties are wrought with dangers...tempting chips, cookies, pop and cake. I tried to steer clear of the goodies and bought foods that I knew the kids would love but I don't enjoy so much (like ketchup chips...yuck). I also doled out all the cake so we wouldn't have leftovers. Lastly, I bought my son sports equipment and joined in the fun of a lacrosse game.
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, Who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselfves have received from God (2 Corinthians 1:3-4 NIV).

Spring Fever
Dear God -- Thank You for this beautiful spring weather. I pray that I will always be able to appreciate the changing seasons through my sight, sound, taste, feel and smell. In Jesus' name, I pray.
It's so wonderful to be able to get outside again and enjoy the warmer weather. Last week, I had opportunity to bike around the neighbourhood, play catch with the dog, clean up the backyard, and play baseball with the family. Activity is so much easier when it is sunny and warm outdoors!
What activities do you enjoy in springtime?
Tip #13: Create space -- Create an area to call your own and make exercise so accessible that you have no excuse. Buy some low-priced equipment: an exercise bike, a resistance band, a set of dumbells, a stretching mat, a jump rope and an exercise video.
It is God who arms me with strength and makes my way perfect (2 Samuel 22:33 NIV.)
